Air France Unveils the First Additions to its 2024-2025 Winter Schedule
New routes out of Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport to Salvador (Brazil), Malé (Maldives) and Kiruna (Sweden); Extended winter service to Denver (Colorado, USA) and Phoenix (Arizona, USA).
Air France continues to expand its network. During the 2024-2025 winter season (November 2024 to March 2025), the airline will offer 5 additional routes from its global hub at Paris-Charles de Gaulle, including 3 new destinations.
The airline's customers will be able to discover:
Salvador (Bahia State, Brazil), with three flights a week (on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays) beginning October 28, 2024. Flights will be operated on Airbus A350-900s equipped with 324 seats (34 in Business, 24 in Premium Economy and 266 in Economy). The former Brazilian capital, designated a UNESCO World Heritage site, will be Air France's 5th destination in Brazil, after Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Fortaleza and Bélem (the latter from Cayenne, French Guiana). By winter 2024, Air France will operate up to 30 flights a week to and from Brazil. Thanks to a commercial partnership with Brazilian carrier GOL, Air France customers can easily connect to 40 domestic destinations in Brazil.
Malé (Maldives), with up to 2 flights a week (on Fridays and Sundays) during the winter holiday season, from December 20, 2024 to January 5, 2025. Flights will be operated on Airbus A350-900s equipped with 292 seats.
Kiruna (Sweden), with 1 weekly flight on Saturdays beginning December 21, 2024, operated on Airbus A319s. After Rovaniemi (Finland), Kittilä (Finland), Tromsø (Norway) and Narvik Lofoten (Norway, only operated in summer), Kiruna will be Air France’s 5th destination in Lapland. Located 200 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle, Kiruna is an ideal starting point to experience the region's pristine nature and attempt to spot the Northern Lights.
Air France will also continue to strengthen its service to the United States. Over the winter, the airline will extend its service to Denver (Colorado, USA) and Phoenix (Arizona, USA), with 3 flights a week to each city, on departure from Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
Until now, the service to Denver had only been offered during the summer, and the Phoenix route, new for summer 2024, will be inaugurated on May 23.
